November brings cozy flavors and warm treats! 🍎 Our Junior Chefs Cooking School continues every Tuesday, designed especially for kids ages 10-14. Each week, kids will roll up their sleeves to create comforting, hands-on recipes while learning kitchen basics in a fun, safe, and creative space. 2.5 hours. Cooking certificate included! 🧑‍🍳✨

CLASS OVERVIEW

A hands-on cooking program for kids (Ages 10–14)
Every Monday | 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM | Includes Certificate, Photos, Little Spoons apron, and recipe book to capture all their creations 🙂

🍎 Week 1: Apple Crumble (Nov 4)

A fall classic made from scratch! Students will:

  • Prepare the crumble topping with butter, oats, and flour

  • Safely slice apples and layer with spices

  • Bake and serve with a golden, crisp finish

🧠 Learning Focus: Knife skills, spice balancing, baking fundamentals
🍴 Made With: Apples, cinnamon, oats, butter, coconut sugar

🍅🧄 Week 2: Tomato Soup + Garlic Rolls (Nov 11)

Comfort food at its best! Students will:

  • Chop and simmer tomatoes, onion, and garlic into a smooth soup

  • Make and roll soft, garlicky dinner rolls from scratch

  • Learn the art of seasoning and pairing

🍎🍞 Week 3: Apple Loaf (Nov 18)

A cozy bake perfect for sharing! Students will:

  • Mix and fold ingredients for a moist, spiced loaf

  • Learn proper measuring and batter techniques

  • Bake, cool, and glaze for presentation

🍴 Made With: Apples, flour, cinnamon, pastured eggs, maple syrup

🥧 Week 4: Shepherd’s Pie (Nov 25)

A savory, hearty dish to wrap up the month! Students will:

  • Chop and sauté vegetables with ground meat or lentils

  • Mash and season potatoes for the topping

  • Assemble and bake until golden and bubbling

🍴 Made With: Potatoes, carrots, peas, herbs, beef or lentils

At the end of the month, each Little Chef will proudly receive:
